That reminds me; they’re friends of ours , too, and I must have you meet them.

What can you think of it, that such a family as ours , should have such a rod held over it?
Their influence on us is at least reciprocal with ours on them.
Remember, that a friendship like ours admits of no reserves.
At times we are as much the object of their envy as they ever are of ours .
Word Origin and History for ours
c.1300, a double possessive (with genitive suffix -s (1)), originating in northern England, and has taken over the absolute function of our (q.v.). In Middle English ourn , ouren also were used.
12c. shortening of Old English ic , first person singular nominative pronoun, from Proto-Germanic *ekan (cf. Old Frisian ik , Old Norse ek , Norwegian eg , Danish jeg , Old High German ih , German ich , Gothic ik ), from PIE *eg- , nominative form of the first person singular pronoun (cf. Sanskrit aham , Hittite uk , Latin ego (source of French Je ), Greek ego , Russian ja , Lithuanian aš ). Reduced to i by mid-12c. in northern England, it began to be capitalized mid-13c. to mark it as a distinct word and avoid misreading in handwritten manuscripts.
The reason for writing I is . the orthographic habit in the middle ages of using a ‘long i’ (that is, j or I ) whenever the letter was isolated or formed the last letter of a group; the numeral ‘one’ was written j or I (and three iij , etc.), just as much as the pronoun. [Otto Jespersen, «Growth and Structure of the English Language,» p.233]
The form ich or ik , especially before vowels, lingered in northern England until c.1400 and survived in southern dialects until 18c. The dot on the «small» letter -i- began to appear in 11c. Latin manuscripts, to distinguish the letter from the stroke of another letter (such as -m- or -n- ). Originally a diacritic, it was reduced to a dot with the introduction of Roman type fonts.
Old English we , from Proto-Germanic *wiz (cf. Old Saxon wi , Old Norse ver , Danish vi , Old Frisian wi , Dutch wij , Old High German and German wir , Gothic weis «we»), from PIE *wei- (cf. Sanskrit vayam , Old Persian vayam , Hittite wesh «we,» Old Church Slavonic ve «we two,» Lithuanian vedu «we two»).
The «royal we» (use of plural pronoun to denote oneself) is at least as old as «Beowulf» (c.725); use by writers to establish an impersonal style is also from Old English; it was especially common 19c. in unsigned editorials, to suggest staff consensus, and was lampooned as such since at least 1853 (cf. also wegotism).

Elevator buttons and morning air
Strangers’ silence makes me wanna take the stairs
If you were here we’d laugh about their vacant stares
But right now my time is theirs
Seems like there’s always someone who disapproves
They’ll judge it like they know about me and you
And the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do
The jury’s out, but my choice is you
So don’t you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high, the water’s rough
But this love is ours
You never know what people have up their sleeves
Ghosts from your past gonna jump out at me
Lurking in the shadows with their lip gloss smiles
But I don’t care ’cause right now you’re mine
And you’ll say
Don’t you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high, the water’s rough
But this love is ours
And it’s not theirs to speculate
If it’s wrong and
Your hands are tough
But they are where mine belong and
I’ll fight their doubt and give you faith
With this song for you

Still have a question? Ask your own!
What is a Pronoun?
A pronoun is defined as a word or phrase that is used as substitute for a noun or noun phrase in a sentence. It also helps to avoid repetition of noun in a sentence.
a) Radhika is a singer and Radhika announced that Radhika’s music album will be released soon.(repetition of the noun ‘Radhika’ makes the sentence cumbersome)
b) Radhika is a singer and she announced that her music album will be released soon.
Basic concepts related to Pronouns:
1. Subject Pronoun replaces nouns that are the subject of their clause and can be used to begin sentences. Example:We did a great job.
2. Object Pronouns are used to replace nouns that are the direct or indirect objects of a clause. Example: Give the book to me.
Antecedent is a word or phrase that a pronoun refers to. A pronoun must agree in number (singular/plural) with its antecedent. Example: Jatin threw the ball to Nitish, and Nitish threw
it back. («the ball» is the antecedent of «it.»)
Forms of Pronouns:
Pronouns are formed based on the following three categories:
a) Person: Who is speaking? I? He? She? They?
b) Number: Is the speaker/subject is Singular or Plural? I or We? He or They?
c) Gender: Is the speaker/subject Masculine, Feminine or Neuter? He? She? It?
st person singular:
a) Subject pronoun: I
b) Object pronoun: Me
c) Possessive adjective: My
d) Possessive pronoun: Mine
e) Reflexive pronoun: Myself
st person plural:
a) Subject pronoun: We
b) Object pronoun: Us
c) Possessive adjective: Our
d) Possessive pronoun: Ours
e) Reflexive pronoun: Ourselves
nd person singular:
a) Subject pronoun: You
b) Object pronoun: You
d) Possessive pronoun: Yours
e) Reflexive pronoun: Yourself
nd person plural:
c) Possessive adjective: Your
e) Reflexive pronoun: Yourselves
rd person singular:
a) Subject pronoun: He/She/It
b) Object pronoun: Him/Her/It
c) Possessive adjective: His/Hers/Its
d) Possessive pronoun: His/hers
e) Reflexive pronoun: Himself/Herself/Itself
a) Subject pronoun: They
b) Object pronoun: Them
c) Possessive adjective: Their
d) Possessive pronoun: Theirs
e) Reflexive pronoun: Themselves
Types of Pronouns:
1. Personal pronouns – words that refer to certain person, thing, or group; I, We, He, Him, She, Her, It, They etc.
2. Indefinite pronouns – words that refer to one or more vague, unspecified objects, beings, or places; Everybody, Somebody, Nobody, Several, Each, Either etc.
3. Reflexive pronouns – forms of Personal pronoun ending in –self or –selves; Myself, Yourselves, Themselves, Himself, Herself, Yourself etc.
4. Demonstrative pronouns – words used to point to something specific within a sentence; This, That, These, Those etc.
5. Possessive pronouns – words that indicate possession or ownership; Her, His, Ours, Yours, Its etc.
6. Relative pronouns – words that refer to nouns mentioned previously, acting to introduce an adjective (relative) clause; Who, Which, Whose, Whom, That etc.
7. Interrogative pronouns – words used to ask a question; Who, What, Which, Whose etc.
8. Reciprocal pronouns – words to express mutual actions or relationship; One another, One another etc.
9. Distributive pronouns – words for individuals and objects referring to them one at a time; Either, Each, Every, None, Anyone etc.

In all compound subjects and objects, apply the “finger rule”: put your finger over each pronoun in turn and get the other to agree with the verb. (you may have to adjust the plural/singular while testing)
“He is a sibling.”
“She is a sibling”
Hence, “He and she are siblings. “
This is one of the few rules in English that has no exceptions, No matter how wrong a combination sounds, if each element is correct then the combo is correct.
Which is grammatically correct, «She and he are siblings» or «Him and her are siblings»?
The correct version of this sentence is “She and he are siblings.” You could also say “He and she are siblings” or “They are siblings.” You need to use the subject forms of the pronouns since they are the subjects of the sentence.
I often hear people using the object pronouns in sentences like this. “Him and her are siblings.” And some people will use one object and one subject, as in “Her and I are siblings.” These are nonstandard, but seem to be pretty common in casual speech, at least in some dialects.
Since the question is tagged with the Grammar Nazi tag, I’d like to mention that it’s not always necessary or a good idea to correct errors like this every time you hear them.
I’m a speech-language pathologist, but I don’t correct every grammar mistake that I hear in casual conversation. I do correct the following people:
Otherwise, any errors in casual speech are probably just dialectical differences, and I don’t really think it’s my place to point them out.

Another realm exists just beneath the skin of ours. Children’s stories and nursery rhymes hint at hideous creatures preying on humans. In that world, true love can be your greatest strength or your greatest weakness.
Violet Fitcher is Bluebeard’s eternally-sixteen ex-spouse and the mother of his child. They’re also the leader of a team of undercover fairytales from around the world that hunt monsters. They’ve finally got Bluebeard pinned down in Arizona, where murdered girls have been found in pieces in the desert.
Then Violet meets Nick Arai, a senior at the local high school where Violet and their team have gone undercover. Nick is sweet and gentle, and he’s wonderful with Violet’s son. Unfortunately Violet is a living fairytale and true love is a curse their kind can’t escape. Against their better judgment, they find themselves falling for Nick. But they still have a mission and a homicidal ex who won’t hesitate to eliminate anyone he views as a threat to their «love.» When evidence suggests Bluebeard isn’t the real killer, Violet has to deal with a threat on two fronts: Bluebeard wants Violet back and Nick dead, and a centuries-old evil called the Dethlysser has targeted Nick.
